I’ve been in the process of moving for a while now. Signed the lease for my new apartment and moving in next Tuesday, I’m currently staying with my in-laws on Long Island until then. I got some guest passes to a couple local gyms from friends, I used one pass yesterday and went to Retro Fitness. It was an ‘okay’ gym, not as nice as the one I was going to in Texas though. It’s a lot smaller and kind of crowded, the red and yellow colors inside reminded me more of a fast food restaurant than a gym- but oh well, it was free right? I have 2 more passes, one to Synergy and another to Retro. I plan on hitting up one of those in a little bit. I need to catch up on writing down my workouts on index cards first. It’s so beautiful outside today! I’ll probably end up taking my doggies out for a walk before the gym- I’d hate to be inside all day on a day like this.
It feels so good to be back in the gym again, I was starting to feel a little bit out of shape after being on the road for so long. BUT I made sure to maintain a very clean diet during my travels- this really helped maintain as much of my hard earned muscle as possible and stay on the right track with my goals.
